Why a Monorail?

A monorail has strong safety features, low operating costs, minimal noise level and superb viewing quality. The proposal is based on a monorail system operated by world-renowned Canadian firm Bombardier. It is powered by its own electric drive motors — a clean, renewable energy source.

The monorail system has been tried and proven in a number of overseas locations and has an accident-free record. Drivers will be in constant radio contact with bases for safety and operational reasons.

In order to increase the carrying capacity of the single track line, up to three switching/passing bays could be built to allow up to four trains to operate at the same time.
